Macaws are the largest parrots in the world. This beautiful macaw has a creamy almost featherless face with bright red, blue, and yellow feathers on its lower wings. The bird's strong beak is adapted to breaking hard nuts found in the rainforest. They prefer to spend their time in tall deciduous trees in the forests and near rivers. In the future the scarlet macaw will be called the Sarleta. The sarleta will be orange and brown. The rainforest water will dry up and cactuses will grow and the Scarletas will now live in the desert. The Sarleta will have sharp claws so it can perch on cactuses. The Sarleta will eat bugs and dry grass. The Sarleta will have a short beak so it can eat dry grass and bugs. Its tail will be a lot shorter so predators can not grab on to it.
