Black Caiman: Present & Future

The tropical rainforest will turn into a savannah. The black caiman lives in the Amazon river basin. It has black scales for camouflage but in the savannah, there won't be black foliage, so they might adapt yellow scales to camouflage with the savannah. I think that caimans will be able to jump up on their legs killing prey, it will also provide a sneak attack when catching prey. I think that they will adapt to having a prehensile tail to keep their balance jumping up to catch prey. Caimans have gizzards and swallow rocks since they don't have molars but since small rocks are uncommon so I think they will adapt to have molars to chew meat and kill prey. I think they will adapt big lungs to run to catch prey. Lastly, they will adapt to having big lungs running on 4 legs to catch prey.
