The jaguar lives in Central and South America, in Rain forests. It eats deer, tapirs, capybaras turtles, iguanas, birds, fish, and monkeys. It is one of the few cats that like water, and will sometimes swim for fun! Going over 100,000 yrs. into the future, they are really different! Now they have wings to fly and catch grassland birds and monkeys. They have long legs and tails to run fast to catch prey and escape danger. their stripes & spots help them stay hidden, and so does their dark brown fur on their face, ears, tails, and legs. Now they still eat birds and monkeys but also gazelle and zebra.
