Boas are nonvenomous, heavy-bodied snakes that constrict, or squeeze, their prey. Specifically the Emerald tree boa is 1.8 metre long and has a scientific name of Corallus caninus. They are found in tropical South America; the adult is green with a white dorsal stripe and crossbars.Boas have sturdy, muscular bodies and short tails. Their scales usually are shiny and smooth and sometimes iridescent. The sharp teeth curve in so it is hard for prey to escape the snake’s jaws. The jaws are stretchable so it can swallow large prey. They mostly live in trees and have predators of large eagles. A lot of boas have heat sensing pits.
In the future it will…live on the ground. This is because trees get chopped down a lot. I think it will be brown with grey spots.
