The Red Fox

For my animal I chose the red fox. They live in every continent except Antarctica. They live in deserts, grasslands, forests, and urban areas. It has reddish fur that helps it hide among trees and bushes. It eats small animals, insects, and fruit. The fox has sharp teeth, good hearing and smell. In the future, some rainforests may turn into hot, open grasslands with fewer trees. My future red fox has lighter, brown fur to blend in with dry grass. Its ears are bigger to let heat escape and help it hear predators far away. Its legs are longer to run fast across open land. The fox also has tougher paws to walk on hot, dry ground and bigger and sharper claws so that it can climb trees. The red fox will probably migrate north and they might start hunting other red foxes.
