Current Boto are greyish pink and turn more pink when excited. They eat fish, crustaceans, and small turtles. They are playful and sometimes interact with people! They live in rivers in the Amazon as well as flooded forests. They mainly only travel in small groups and they have flexible necks for steering, unique teeth, and big heads. Over thousands of years, I believe that their environment will turn desert-like. They will adapt in many ways, such as bigger heads for more intelligent brains so they can communicate more advanced, paler skin to protect them and attract less heat. They will adapt a longer snout with more teeth to catch and crush food easier. They could also have longer fins to swim more efficiently. Their stomachs will become smaller because they will have less food because most animals they eat will die from intense heat.
