Potoo

Potoo birds live in the tropical rainforest. The scientific name for the Potoo is nyctubis grandus. Potoos eat Grasshoppers, insects, and beetles. The Potoos live in a small opening in a tree. In 1million years the tropical rainforest will turn into a savana. Due to climate change. In the future Potoos will need to grow new adaptations such as smaller eyes, a big tongue, less fur, longer legs, a burrow to live in, and eat snakes. The Potoos need smaller eyes so they are not nocturnal anymore. They will have less fur because it will be really hot in the savannah. The Nyctybus Grandus will need longer legs to walk on the ground often they need stronger legs. Potoo birds also need to be able to eat snakes which means they need a bigger throat. That is how the Potoo bird can survive in the Savannah in 1 million years.
