The Green Iguana will have to adapt to many changes in the future due to global warming. The sea levels will rise, their habitat will become a swamp, and they will have to adjust to the new environment. One of the Green Iguanas adaptations now is its third eye (parietal eye) that helps iguanas detect motion from above. They also have tails to hurt predators, and spines for protection. In the future, the green iguana will develop gills to breathe underwater. They also might have streamlined bodies in the shape of a teardrop to help them go faster underwater, and to help them catch prey. In 1,000,000 years the green iguana will have fins too, to help them swim!. Another adaptation they will get is camouflage, to blend in with other things to help them survive. They will have tons of amazing adaptations in the future.
