White-faced Capuchin Monkey

The Panamanian White-faced Capuchin monkey is a monkey that has evolved so it is able to use tools to open things. They are extremely smart and are used in human studies for that reason. This monkey is found in rainforests from Honduras to Panama. An interesting fact about them is they do not build houses or nests, their troop finds an area called a “Home Range” and that is the troop’s territory. I think that the evolution of the capuchin monkeys would make it so that the ability of tool using that the capuchin monkeys have would be greatly increased. Another thing that I think that will change will be the color of their fur. I think their fur will be a darker brown to blend in with all the dirt and stumps because the trees would be torn down. Their new houses will be underground in the dirt.
