Future Animal: Jaguar

Present The animal that I have chosen is a jaguar or panthera onca. Jaguars are powerful hunters in the jungle. The color of its fur is most commonly tawny-yellow, tan, white, black, or reddish-yellow with black spots and rosettes that are brown and black.. They are large cats so they have paws, a long slender tail, a snout, and ears. The disaster I have chosen is a flood from the ocean. Future The jaguars’ fur colors can not change but in the flood the jaguars’ rosettes become larger so that they are slightly less noticeable. Jaguars’ paws would become more finlike so that they could move easier, their long tail would become shorter and thicker so it could be used to propel them faster, and their ears would become more of a hole in their head that can hear movement in water or on land, vibrations, and sound waves
