A jaguar's habitat is the south american rain forest. Jaguars can see better in the night than the day. Jaguars weigh between 100 and 250 pounds. Jaguars sleep on tree branches at night. Jaguar cubs stay with their mother for 2 years. Jaguars use their claws and teeth to kill prey like wild pigs, deer and fish.
In the future jaguars might need to be born able to see instead of blind in their new ocean habitat. They may need fins and gills in case of rising sea levels. They may need to keep their claws to defend their babies. Jaguars may be vegetarians in the future. They may need claws to rip plants out of the ocean floor.
