Geckos are strange and cute little animals. They live in rain forests, mountains, and deserts. They are camouflage to blend in with their habitat to hide from predators. One random day, people come and chop trees down. Bigger animals have an advantage now. They can eat the geckos. The little geckos lose all of their food and nutrients. After they cut down trees, there is nowhere for them to blend in. The geckos become endangered soon after. Now, they have grown to have gills, fins, and have a bigger body. They change to neon pink and blue. They are changing color so people think they are poisonous. They live in oceans, streams, rivers, and lakes. They eat seaweed and krill. They have a good habitat and now they aren’t endangered. They are safe in their new homes. They have kept the population growing while swimming around with their new look.
