My lemur lives in the deciduous forests of Madagascar. They like to eat flowers/fruit, insects, and small vertebrates using small fingers to grasp. They have a brown color to blend in with the trees and are nocturnal foragers- that is why they have big eyes. In the future, rising sea levels may sadly drown Madagascar completely and cause ultimate habitat loss. Madagascar is predicted to be underwater in the future time of 2200-2300 due to climate change. My lemur will need to adapt to these ocean conditions. They will have webbed hands to swim, and the tail will adapt like a flipper. They will become smaller in size and have scales to protect themselves in water and gills to breathe. The lemurs will also adapt echolocation to help hunt in water like dolphins and whales.
