The White Cheeked Spider Monkey is fully black, with white fur covering its cheeks and brows. Fruits cover up to 83% of their diet. They have long limbs that help them move from tree to tree, with long phalanges to grip. They have a long tail that acts as a fifth limb to aid in tree climbing. The underside of their tail is hairless, so they can grip to the tree branches. After deforestation and harm, their tails will be shortened and hairy because they don't need to grip to the trees. They also will have shorter limbs, since climbing won’t be necessary along with turning their finger-like phalanges into claws, that will be the primary way they get food, due to berries growing on trees there won’t be any anymore. The white cheeks and brows on the monkey will turn brown so they can camouflage better to the ground.
