Red-Bellied Piranha

The red-bellied piranha is native to the Amazon River basin. They travel in schools throughout the low elevation sections. Having a red underside with a gray, rounded nose with razor sharp teeth, these physical adaptations will evolve while the rainforest drastically changes. Piranhas will become smaller with more of a greener camouflage and duller teeth to adapt to lower water levels and having more of an herbivore diet.
