Present
Bengal tigers are strong wild cats that live in forests and grasslands in India and nearby countries. They use powerful legs to run and leap after prey. Their sharp claws and teeth help them catch and hold animals. Their orange fur with black stripes acts as camouflage, helping them hide in tall grass. They also have great hearing and night vision, which helps them hunt at night. Their long tails help them balance when turning quickly or moving through thick plants.
Future
In the future, Bengal tigers could evolve to live in the ocean. Their fur might change to blue and white to blend with the water. Their legs could slowly adapt into fins for swimming. They might become smaller and eat fish and crabs. Over many generations, their bodies would change to survive in the sea.
