The red-eyed-tree-frog was a small agile frog that lived in the Amazon Rainforest. It thrived in its environment until around the year 2734. This is when the great drought occurred. The great drought wiped out 90% of the Amazon Rainforest, taking away much of the red-eyed-tree-frog's habitat. The Amazon Rainforest lost many of the trees that the frogs called their home. Much of the rainforest’s water dried up. Many of the frogs died in the process of them adapting to their new habitat. By the year 2956 the red-eyed-tree-frogs had fully adapted to their changed environment. They grew web wings that connected from their hind legs to their front legs to glide tree to tree staying away from the burning ground. They also gained a sort of camel-like hump to store water so that they could survive when water was scarce.
