The Thick Billed Parrot is on the list of endangered species. It generally lives at higher altitudes and comes down to lower altitudes when it snows. It eats only fruits found in the rainforest to survive. The rainforest changed into the savannah because of the global warning. The first way the Thick Billed Parrot adapted is it made a pouch on the front of its body to store food or water in case of a drought. The second way the Thick Billed Parrot adapted is it changed its diet from a herbivore to an omnivore to have more food to eat.
The third adaptation the Thick Billed Parrot made is it changed its color from multicolor to only yellow to help hide from predators by blending in with the grass. Those adaptations help the Thick Billed Parrot thrive in some aspects of the savannah to survive successfully.
