The Harpy Eagle is an amazonian bird that lives in the canopy of tropical lowland rain-forest. They are primarily solitary hunters, they use their keen eye sight to hunt tree-dwelling mammals, such as monkeys, sloths, and others. Currently they have specialized, wide, and elliptical wings to help them maneuver through the rain-forest. Currently the rain-forest is experiencing major deforestation which has caused many different problems. Such as a loss in biodiversity and loss in rainfall/ higher temperatures.
