Sloth

In the present, the sloth has a very, very low chance of extinction. The average sloth weighs 9-17 pounds, and their limbs are around 3-4 inches long. For their outer covering, they typically have a mix of brown and grey hair/fur. They also have quite large eyes,and can't shiver to keep warm. The future sloth however lives under water. In the future these creatures will have light tan skin with some dark blue speckles. When the future sloth swims, it will be very, very fast. It will eat small fish and seaweed. Lastly it will have webbed feet and no claws.
