Due to rising temperatures in the atmosphere, the Hyacinth Macaw must develop a slighter and smaller body so it will absorb less heat. Under the same category of less heat absorption, the Hyacinth Macaw can also develop a less dense cover of feathers so it can release heat more efficiently. Furthermore, the Hyacinth Macaw can develop a lighter color of feathers to absorb less heat. Then, the Hyacinth Macaw will have a larger beak so it can crack tougher nuts. Nuts will begin to get tougher and drier as water supply dwindles. So, to maintain their diet of a high-fat, high-carb diet consisting mainly of nuts, they must develop larger beaks to continue eating the nuts.
