The Future of Green Iguana The habit is tropical rainforests and riverbanks and it has high temperatures to help them control body heat .The things that they would have to do to survive is digest dry plants , artificial plants and new vegetation types , stronger tail and bio- energy for defense. There will be a color change from green to gray, brown , orange and red because of how old it is. In 500 to 1000 years they will get smaller bodies and They develop large dewlaps (throat fans), larger spikes on their backs, and prominent rings on their tails. The adaptations help them survive with less water, higher temperatures, and fewer natural resources. Over time, the iguana changes from a rainforest animal into a future survivor species and they would get smaller bodies and longer limbs.
