Three Toed Sloth Adaptation

The Sun-Canopy Sloth is the name of my future creation. This evolved sloth would have a brown-green patterned coat for natural camouflage, thinner fur to stay cool, and longer arms to reach far-off branches. Additionally, it would have a leaner body to survive on less food and sharper claws for defense. In terms of behavior, the Sun-Canopy Sloth would stay in shaded canopy areas, travel farther to find food, be more active at night to avoid intense heat, and broaden its diet to include more plant species. These behavioral and physical changes would help avoid overheating, enhance camouflage, make food more accessible, facilitate better movement between trees, and lower the danger of predators.
