The Blue Morpho is a insect. The top of their wings have tiny scales that reflect blue light. Their wings can grow up to 5-8 inches. The underside of a Blue Morpho butterfly is a cryptic, dull brown color covered in specialized eye spots, designed to camouflage. Blue Morpho’s have a long tongue called proboscis.They drink sap & juices from fruit. Some eat dead animals & fungi. Blue Morpho’s live in Mexico, Central America, & South America. They share a habitat with more than 150 other types of butterflies. THE FUTURE The wings in the future will be sand brown with really small black dots. They will also be the same on the underside of the wings. The abdomen will be black with tiny hints of blue. The antennas will be really dark blue with hints of purple. The Blue Morpho will be living in a desert.
