Sloths are small animals that don't do much at all, but with adaptations and evolutions this animal can look and be a lot different! In the future the sloth's bustling rainforest will turn into a less lively desert-ish environment from intense global warming. This animal will grow longer and tougher claws to burrow underground to escape the heat. But they will also grow darker fur so they can absorb some of the sun's heat making going out of their burrows to hunt and explore more manageable. These adaptations will allow sloths to fight predators with their long claws and hide in shade with their dark fur. Its diet will be heavily affected by the environment change so it will start to eat meat and drink water from cutting down catie with its claws. New environments pose many challenges to all living creatures but with evolution and adaptation they can survive.
