The Quick Rodent

The future creature that I picked was the capybara. They could have many changes in the next 1000 years or more from now due to the temperature change, habitat loss, and many others. The capybara is the largest rodent in the world growing to as much as 4.4 feet. They are usually found in rain forests near many water sources. They can weigh about 60-174 lbs. Future In the future, I think the capybara could evolve over time. I think it will evolve because of people trying to get more land, and getting rid of some of the water where the capybaras rest. That would affect them because that's where they stay. They would become a really dark brown color. That would help them camouflage. They would also have sharp claws to protect themselves from predators like humans. Finally, capybaras will become much faster.
