Right now sloths are really slow animals that eat leaves and fruit from trees. Sloths live in the tropical rain forest 45 meters above the ground in Central and South America called the Upper Canopy. In 1,000 years the trees will be cut down and the sloths will have to live on the ground, and since the trees are cut down there will be no leaves so they will become carnivores. They also will have a bigger body to block prey and stronger legs to run faster away from harpy eagles, ocelots, and jaguars. Since the trees will be gone there will be taller grass so the sloths will turn green to camouflage.
