The present chameleon lives in a tree or in the warm bushes and they have no fur and claws. Chameleons eat worms, silkworms and crickets which need water to live. The trees are going to block the sun and grow more because there is going to be more rain so the chameleon will need to grow fur to survive in the cold. The chameleon needs longer and stronger claws because of the trees growing stronger. The chameleon needs to change colors. The chameleon needs to be green like the trees around it. The chameleon needs to blend with the environment. The environment will be greener because there will be more leaf growth. The chameleons have a lot of predators. The chameleon has to change into the environment and the environment is going to be more greener. This is why the future chameleon can change.
