A panther is an apex predator that lives in the rainforest. Well known for their spotted coats they wander the forest. In the future my hypothesis is that with human deforestation and global warming the rainforest will turn into something more like a savanna. Panthers might start to get smaller because small bodies release heat faster. Longer limbs due to fast prey and the vast plain. Though we may not see it, something will change in the body too. For longer running periods their lungs may expand to hold more air. In a savanna fast prey means fast predators.
