The current habitat of the yellow footed tortes is the rain forests in southeastern Venezuela, Guyana,Brazil, eastern Colombia, Ecuador, and northeastern Bolivia. I predict that the future habitat of the creature is the savana based on scientific predictions I think the habitat will change from the rainforest to the savana because of lack of precipitation, global warming, and traumatic loss of the rainforest I think the yellow footed tortoise will evolve with fire proof shell so it can withe stand fire from rampant forest and shrub fire in the savana and flaps that are controlled by small muscles so it can close the flap to avoid smaller insects from getting in the inside and to protect from fire i also think it will have small pores all over the tortoises shell that spew poisonous liquid that coats the shell to kill smaller insects and deter bigger creatures.
