Amazing Jaguars

Jaguars are strong swimmers and climbers that live in dense rainforests, hunting deer, monkeys, and fish. In the future, the rainforest may turn into a dry savanna because of climate change. The jaguar will need new adaptations to survive. Its coat may turn sandy instead of orange so it can camouflage in dry grass. The jaguar might lose its long tail because there will be fewer trees to climb. It will also develop broader, stronger legs to run faster and travel longer distances. These changes will help the jaguar hunt prey and stay safe in its new habitat.
