The Peacock

Peacocks are known for having pretty, gorgeous feathers. When they open their feathers, they can hide in a bush and blend in. Their feet help them to land when they jump and are very sharp to defend themselves against predators. In the future, the rainforest will turn into a savanna, and there won't be a lot of trees. Because there won't be a lot of trees or grass in the dry savanna, their bodies will be a little more brown. They won't have a crest anymore because if they have a crest, it would be easier for predators to find them, and they won’t have any trees to hide behind. They will become shorter so they don’t pop out as much so creatures can’t find them. They should be faster because there will not be enough areas to hide in, so they will need to run away from their predators.
