The ocellate river stingray lived in a tropical rain forest. Due to climate change, this habitat will turn into a bushland. Some other adaptations that they have is that they migrate in fresh water for short periods of time and bury themselves in the sand. They also have a spiral stomach to better break down the foods that they eat. Their adaptations will change to help them survive when the environment changes. They will still burrow in the sand, but they will now use claws to dig. In order to hide from predators, it will run into the many bushes that will be in its new habitat. The future creature will have strong legs to chase its food. Its stomach will change to better digest its new diet. They will also be able to survive off of less food because climate change will shrink their food supply.
