Currently the Harpy eagle has a big beak and giant claws to help them hunt bigger prey like monkeys. The Harpy eagle is quite big to make it easier for them to eat things like deer, fawns, and apes. For adaptations, they are grayish in color to camouflage them with their cloudy and shadowy surroundings. The Harpy eagle lives in the rainforest canopy, but I think their habitat will become a savanna because of wildfires caused by global warming. Over time the rainforests will dry out and make all the plants die forming a savanna. As the savanah forms, the Harpy Eagles will become a golden color to blend in with the sand. I predict that they will also get smaller beaks and talons for hunting lizards, as well as the feathers on their head getting bigger for better hearing so they can hear even the footsteps of lizards.
