The South American Bushmaster lives in the rainforest. They like to sleep in day places like hollowed trees and in between tree roots on dry leafs. They have a diamond pattern down their back for camouflage. They are six to twelve feet long with a triangular head. They are nocturnal and are solitary creatures. They have heat sensing pits to detect their prey. They eat small mammals like rabbits, rodents, and small birds. They have 1.5 inch fangs and their venom is deadly.
In the future they will live in a savanna. They’ll sleep in the tall grasses or hollowed trees. They will become fully tan so it is able to camouflage. They will develop a pouch to hold water and lay eggs. They will start to hunt during the day because that is when their prey is active. They will develop ears so they can hear their prey.
