The Panthera Onca Jaguar mainly lives in the rainforests of Brazil, as the Amazon Rainforest. These forests are dense, full of rivers, which jaguars reply on for water, hiding, and hunting. Jaguars are also strong swimmers. In the future, climate change may cause some rainforests to become similar to dry grasslands. Jaguars could slowly adapt to these new environments. Their fur will become lighter to blend in with the dry grass. Their bodies are going to be skinnier so they could run better across the open land. Larger ears allow them to release heat in hotter climates. Jaguars may begin to hunt different prey, like the small grassland animals to help them surrvive in a warmer, open, new habitat.
