3 Toed Sloth

I chose the three toed sloth from the Amazon Rainforest.The 3 toed sloth has three claws, five hind toes, short tail, and thick, shaggy, grayish fur, that hosts algae providing camouflage. The three toed sloth lives in canopies that they rarely leave, feeding, sleeping, and even giving birth up there. The tree toed sloth is a herbivore with a slow metabolism allowing it to sleep 14 to 20 hours a day. I have predicted the three toed sloth will live on the ground, speed up their metabolism, and become omnivores. It will have a strong head for protection. It will look dumb as a way to not look like a predator tricking the prey. I think this because the sloth will need to adapt to survive and hunt. The Amazon Rainforest will become a safari because of global warming. That is my report on the three toed sloth.
