Dry Land Arapaima

The Arapaima Giga is a massive torpedo shaped fish that lives in the Amazon Rainforest. The Arapaima has an up -turned mouth for sucking up food. Also, Arapaima have body armor like scales for protection. One character trait of Arapaima is that they are super vicious fish. Because the Amazon Rainforest faces deforestation, wildfires, and climate change Arapaima might have to learn to adapt to living in different and dryer land with less water that is not suitable for fish to live in one thousand years from now. The Arapaima might need lungs to breathe air, Alligator-like legs with claws for walking on land and clawing at prey, bigger teeth to eat bigger animals, and bigger scales that are dryer and are more brown to blend in with the dry land.
