The habitat for the sloth will change because of global warming. The rainforest that they live in will receive less rain because of the increased temperatures. This will decrease the rainforest canopy to allow more light to reach the ground and the decreased amount of rain will cause less tree and leaf growth. The sloth will slowly adapt to the change in habitat by possibly changing fur colors to match the decreased tree growth and leaf growth for camouflage. Their hair may also be shorted to remain cooler in the warmer temperatures. They may develope to be skinner and more muscled because of decreased food availability and more exercise to get to avalable food.
