A jaguar now has thin fur to allow it to stay cool and sharp claws for grip. They also have bigger paws with a lot of padding to let it sneak up on prey and keep quiet. A jaguar in the future would adapt to the changing temperatures by growing a thicker coat of fur on the top for shade and thin fur elsewhere to allow easy heat loss. They would also need to be able to go a long time with no water and the ability to tolerate body temperatures.
