Over time, animals have learned to adapt to their surroundings. One example of the process of adaptation is the toucan. The toucan is a rainforest animal that has evolved for the purpose of survival in their environment. For example, the toucan adjusts blood circulation to the beak to control their physique temperature by means of managed warmth loss, so that it doesn't overheat in its tropical habitat. The large beak also serves to help the toucan grasp fruit, insects, eggs and small birds. Considering the massive amount of trees being cut down by factories, rainforest animals will be forced to adapt to a new setting. Future rainforests may contain less trees in addition to higher temperatures as a result of global warming. Therefore, it is my prediction that the toucan will develop feet that function well on the ground as well as feathers that prevent the bird from overheating.
