As years pass by and the world evolves, living organisms need to adapt to changes in their environment. The Bengal tiger is one of those animals that has to adapt. Its striped fur helps it camouflage and its sharp teeth and claws help them catch prey, climb trees and eat their food. In the future, the Bengal tiger’s habitat, rainforests, are going to have less rainfall and, may even end up destroyed if we continue at the pace we are today. In order to survive, the Bengal tiger will lose its claws and its fur will change color from bright orange and black to a pale brown and black. The change in color will help the tigers blend into their new habitat (whatever is left of the rainforest) and they will not need claws to climb up trees if all of the trees are gone.
