The ocelot lives in Central America and South America in rainforests with many greens. They hunt at night, eating bunnies, fish, and rodents. Ocelots don’t live long in the wild. They are hunters, yet they are hunted by larger cats and more. The Earth is warming and this could affect ocelots along with their habitat. The plants and trees for cover would struggle to grow and water would dry up in about four centuries. It may become barren one day! The sun would have no problem reaching Earth without plants and their cover. The fish may move to cool water and the ocelot could get skinny, struggling to find food. Also, without nutrients, its body color could have a weak hue, yet this may help it blend into its new surroundings. They’ll have to get stronger claws to dig for water. Thus, the creation of the Southern Desert Cat.
