Fruit cat

The Kinkajou is a small animal, and it is very cute but it’s not all fun and games for this little creature, the kinkajou or the honey bear has about a 20 year lifespan and weighs around 3-10 pounds. it is found in South America, and although a carnivore it loves fruit. With climate change, the animals in the rainforests will probably die out unless they find a way to adapt to the new environment, and the kinkajou is no exception because with trees being gone there will be less fruits, and a smaller habitat for Kinkajous, which will cause the animal to go extinct unless it adapts. Some adaptations it might have to make is it will learn how to defend itself on the ground because it spends a good amount of time in trees, and it will have to become more carnivorous because of the lack of fruit.
