Pongo tapanuliensis

Orangutans are found only in the rain forests of Southeast Asia. There are some problems that the rainforest has such as air pollution, deforestation, and water security. The orangutans are the heaviest and largest tree dwelling animal. Their long arms help them climb. They also have tremendous strength so that helps them go from tree to tree with no problem. When they are climbing they are usually searching for food. Sometimes they eat with their feet. Some orangutans are only vegetarians but most are omnivores. My future habit will have good air,not a lot of water, and no people allowed so deforestation can’t happen. My adaptations are giving them a water pouch on their stomach to hold water and or food. If all the water dries up and the food becomes scarce
