Scarlet macaws are red, blue, green, and yellow. The macaw’s current habitat is dense tropical rainforests in Brazil. Right now main threats to the rainforests are deforestation and forest fires. In the future I think these tropical rainforests will probably be destroyed and nothing will be left of them. This will cause the scarlet macaws to migrate long distances to unfamiliar and less compact land. I think migrating will cause the macaws to adapt and have smaller bodies and larger wings. I think this because they will have to fly longer distances and these adaptations will allow them to fly these long distances. I also think the scarlet macaw’s wing color will change because it needs to camouflage itself from predators in a more open environment. The wing color will probably be a brown or dark green. The macaws might take around five hundred thousand years to fully adapt.
