Gabby’s creation

Currently, sloths that live in the rainforests live their whole life hanging on tall trees by their long claws but as time goes on and the rainforest changes and there will be fewer trees for them to hang off of. They will have to adapt to an animal who can live on the ground level. I created a creature who has more of a bulky body like a bear to be able to handle walking and running rather than hanging. This animal will still be able to climb up a tree with its long claws so it can get food from trees. This adaption might take longer because of how much the sloth’s body form needs to change so at a certain time when the rainforest is changing so rapidly and the sloths are changing slowly they might struggle with there being fewer trees to hang off of.
