The Toucan is an animal that lives in the rainforest. Its habitat is the canopy layer of the rainforest it hopes from tree to tree and doesn't fly often. The toucan is an omnivore and eats snakes, berries, and small insects. Since lots of trees are getting chopped now in the rainforest, I predict that in a thousand years the rainforest will be gone. Instead there will probably be wetlands. The toucan has to adapt to the new habitat by having bigger wings so it can fly because the trees will be gone. Their feathers and beak will be less colorful so they can blend in with the ground, and their beaks will be smaller. In the wetlands they can eat little mammals, tadpoles, frogs, snakes and other grasses.
