Toucans in South America will end up being in savannas because there are large savannas in certain parts of South America that the birds would migrate to after they are not able to survive in the rainforests. One feature that would need to be changed is the color of its beak. The color would easily attract prey, so to camouflage it would need a beige beak. Another feature would be stronger wings to fly and protect itself from prey. Toucans can not fly long distances because of their small wings. Another feature could be sharper teeth so they can tear at animals better. Along with teeth the bird would need a sharp spiny tongue to be able to eat small animals easily. The last needed feature is a shorter beak to catch animals controllably. With a longer beak it is harder to catch small animals because they can get away.
