Harpy eagles are rare, and getting rarer every day. This is my description of what the Amazon looks like today. Tall green trees reaching for the sky, and beautiful colored flowers down below. The Amazon is one of the most beautiful places on earth, though, the Amazon is getting weaker. It is being destroyed by fires, bulldozers, and chainsaws for farming and wood. Every tree, one by one, will eventually be taken down.
I drew what I think is the Amazon rainforest in the future, scientists predict that the Amazon will become a dry savanna. This leads to animals not having a place to live, and no food to eat. As you see here, the harpy eagle is flying high in the sky, looking for just something, her babies are starving, and out in the open for predators. Her habitat is gone.
